Terms of Service

By accessing or using Talk2Tally (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Service is provided by MobiOffice Software Innovations Private Limited (“MobiOffice”, “MobiOfficeHQ”, “we”, “us”), the company behind the Lookato conversational intelligence platform. These Terms are in addition to any signed customer agreement between you and MobiOffice (the “Customer Agreement”). If there is any conflict, the Customer Agreement takes precedence.

Talk2Tally is an independent product of MobiOffice Software Innovations Private Limited, powered by the Lookato platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in any way. “Tally” and “TallyPrime” are registered trademarks of Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Talk2Tally is a third-party integration that reads data from Tally software with the user's explicit permission.

The Service

Talk2Tally allows authorised users of a subscribing business to query data from their Tally installation via WhatsApp. The Service is read-only: it does not write, edit, or delete data in Tally. You are responsible for installing and maintaining the Talk2Tally connector on your Windows PC running Tally.

Licence and permitted use

The licence granted by MobiOffice to the Customer is subject to the following conditions:

  • The Service may only be used and accessed by the employees and other authorised personnel of the Customer.
  • The Service may only be used by the number of WhatsApp numbers and Tally companies purchased by the Customer.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or sublicense the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
  • You may not use the Service to violate any law, infringe any intellectual property rights, or transmit harmful or unlawful content.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data in your Tally installation.
  • You are responsible for configuring role-based access so that each user only sees data they are authorised to see.
  • You are responsible for keeping your WhatsApp account and connector credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for backing up your Tally data. Talk2Tally is not a backup service.

Fees and billing

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually based on the plan you select. You can add or remove WhatsApp numbers and Tally companies; billing adjusts from the next cycle. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Maintenance and support

  • Support is provided remotely via WhatsApp and email during business days and hours.
  • MobiOffice may apply updates to the Service from time to time without prior notice.
  • Support covers responding to service requests, bug fixes, and critical security patches.

Warranties and limitations

  • Complex software is never wholly free from defects, errors and bugs. MobiOffice provides no warranty that the Service will be defect-free but commits to resolving identified issues.
  • The Service is compatible only with the versions of Tally and Windows specified in our documentation. MobiOffice makes no warranties regarding compatibility with other platforms.
  • MobiOffice does not provide any legal, financial, accounting or taxation advice. Responses generated by the Service are informational only and should not be relied on as professional advice.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, MobiOffice's aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the Customer to MobiOffice in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and we will disconnect cleanly from your Tally. Your Tally data remains untouched. You may request deletion of any data we hold.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
