What “Tally on WhatsApp” actually means
Tally on WhatsAppis a way to read live data from your Tally accounting software by sending messages to a WhatsApp number. You ask a question — “aaj ka sale kitna hai?” — and a bot replies with the exact number, pulled in real-time from your actual Tally installation.
It is not a replacement for Tally. It does not store your accounting data. It does not let you create entries or modify vouchers. What it does is expose Tally's read capabilities through a conversational interface that anyone in your team can use from the WhatsApp they already have on their phone.
