Live Tally Mode
Talk2Tally answers from your live Tally system through the edge agent. Your full Tally database is not synced to Talk2Tally central servers. Tally and the edge agent must be running for WhatsApp answers.

What is Live Tally Mode?
Live Tally Mode is the launch architecture of Talk2Tally. When an approved WhatsApp user asks a question, the Talk2Tally edge agent connected to your local Tally receives the request, queries your Tally data on the spot, and returns the answer through WhatsApp. Your full Tally database is not synced to Talk2Tally central servers.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — Talk2Tally includes a 7-day free trial. No credit card required. Connect your Tally with WhatsApp and try real queries on your business data during the trial period. Guided setup is included. After 7 days, you can choose a paid plan to continue. Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee also applies after activation — see below.
What is the launch offer?
For launch customers, guided onboarding is included with the Owner Plan. This includes secure QR-based activation, Tally company verification, WhatsApp user setup, permission configuration, first-question testing, and owner & accountant training.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes — a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. After guided onboarding, try Talk2Tally with your Tally data for 30 days. If it cannot answer the standard supported questions for your configured company, we will refund your first-year subscription. The guarantee assumes your configured Tally system, internet connection, and edge agent are available during use — Live Tally Mode requires access to the running Tally system. Why do you include guided onboarding if connection is QR-based?
The technical connection is quick — a secure edge agent links via QR — but successful activation requires selecting the right company, configuring users, setting permissions, testing first questions, and training the owner and accountant. Guided onboarding ensures Talk2Tally is useful and safe from day one.
Can Talk2Tally modify my Tally data?
No. Talk2Tally is read-only by design — it cannot create, edit, delete, or post entries in Tally. Every query is recorded with the user, time, and what was asked, so you always know who asked what.
Does Talk2Tally work offline?
Not in the launch Owner Plan. In Live Tally Mode, your Tally system, internet connection, and Talk2Tally edge agent must be running for answers to be generated. If any of these is unavailable, the user receives an offline/unavailable response.
Will you offer offline access later?
Yes, for selected customers. Offline or always-on access will require a different architecture where approved Tally data is synced securely to an analytics layer (we call this Always-On Analytics Mode). It is not part of the launch Owner Plan and will require explicit customer approval.
Can I add more users?
The Owner Plan includes 2 WhatsApp users — typically the owner and one trusted accountant or finance person. Additional WhatsApp users are free during the 7-day beta. After the beta period, additional users can be added at extra monthly charges — contact us for team pricing.
Can I add more Tally companies?
Yes. Additional Tally companies can be configured. We recommend discussing this during the demo so users, permissions, and reporting expectations are set correctly. Group companies, branches, and CA firms are quoted as custom plans.
Is there a query limit?
The Owner Plan includes fair usage for normal business use — owners and accountants asking everyday questions throughout the day. High-volume, multi-company, or team usage may require a custom plan. We will reach out before any limits if your usage looks unusual.
How do I pay?
We invoice annually with GST. UPI, NEFT/RTGS, and bank transfer are all supported. Payment is due before guided onboarding is scheduled.
